Crescent Cycle — Terms of Service

Crescent Cycle does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is a logging and reflection tool.

Do not use its predictions as a method of contraception or as a way to plan or avoid pregnancy. Predictions are a simple average of the gaps between the periods you have logged. They cannot account for illness, stress, medication, hormonal conditions, perimenopause, or ordinary natural variation, and they are frequently wrong.

If something about your cycle worries you — unusual bleeding, severe pain, a long unexplained gap, or any symptom that concerns you — speak to a doctor or qualified clinician. Nothing this app shows you is a reason to delay doing so.

Accepting these terms

By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Crescent Cycle only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Your account

• Give an accurate email address — it is the only way to recover access.
• Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
• Tell us promptly if you think someone else has your credentials.
• One person per account. Do not share a login — link a partner account instead.

Partner sharing

Linking a partner grants another person access to your cycle information at the permission level you choose. Only share a couple code with someone you trust, and only at a level you are comfortable with. You can change the permission level or unlink at any time; unlinking takes effect immediately and deletes the notes shared between you.

If you are a supporting partner, the data you can see belongs to someone else. Treat it as private and do not disclose it to anyone.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access another person's account or data, interfere with or overload the service, reverse engineer or tamper with the app's security, or use the app to harass, coerce, or monitor someone without their genuine consent.

Your data

Your data is yours. We claim no ownership of what you log. You can export it at any time, and delete it along with your account — see the Privacy Policy for how, and for what happens afterwards.

Availability, and no warranty

Crescent Cycle is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, that predictions will be accurate, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own export if a record matters to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending your use

You may stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used to harm someone.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be signalled by the date above and notified in the app before taking effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
